In the spirit of attempting to promote activity here a bit, I have decided to make a poll.

Which of the numerous separate series of Mega Man games is your favorite?

My vote is Legends. The dungeon crawl style of MEgaman was awesome, and I really loved the upgrade system and the creation of new weapons.
Even though I never beat Legends 2, I loved playing it. THe whole series was so immersive. I wish they'd made Legends 3.

Eh, I'm going with the X series now that I've gotten around to voting. MML1 was awesome with all its customization and boss fights... and how tense it got toward the end where I had to constantly fear for my life... but the X series has equally awesome boss fights and intense platforming action, so I'm voting for X.
...
...Granted, that may be because I've played X6 far more recently than Legends (by which I mean 64), but still.

legends for me cuz they hold some of my more happier memories, it was a close tie with X so yea
